Terms and Conditions of Membership

Terms of Membership & Membership Agreement: The following is the Membership Agreement between The Rocket Marketing Group (“We and Us”) and the person whose name appears on the Welcome Letter overleaf (“You”). You are urged to read the Terms & Conditions of Membership agreement carefully and to communicate any questions that may arise to our Membership Services Team on 08448 808 900.

Membership Benefits:

As a Club Member, You are entitled to discounts and/ or other benefits on products and services offered by participating suppliers (Benefits) as explained in the Membership Guide.

Membership Term

You are agreeing to trial the Ideal Extras Club free for 21 days. Your Annual Membership will commence after the Preview Membership has ended. You have been charged a non-refundable P&P charge for this Preview Membership of £2.99. This was notified to You when You agreed to take the Preview Membership and is confirmed in your Welcome Letter. Unless You notify Us that you do not wish to become an Annual Member of the Idea Extras Club within the 21 Day Preview period by calling our Membership Services Team on 08448 808 900 (please see ‘Cancellation of Membership’ below) your Membership will be automatically extended fir a further 12 months at a cost of £49.99. If we are unable to bill your specified billing source, you agree to provide an alternative billing source or pay us by cheque. We reserve the right to increase or decrease the enrolment fee for each Renewal Membership term effective upon renewal of your Membership.

Renewal Membership

We will send you a letter reminding you of your Membership renewal 21 days prior to your annual renewal date, explaining the renewal procedure and Membership cost. Unless you notify us that you wish to terminate your Membership before your second year Membership is due to renew, a renewal payment will be taken from your original billing details. If we are unable to bill your specified billing source, you agree to provide an alternative billing source or pay us by cheque. We reserve the right to increase or decrease the enrolment fee for each Renewal Membership term effective upon renewal of your Membership.

Disclaimer of Liability

You agree that We are not responsible or liable for any of the Benefits provided by participating suppliers and if you have any claims relating to any of these Benefits, You will only claim directly against the supplies providing the Benefit. This is subject to a governed by their Terms and Conditions. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WITH RESPECT TO ANY OF THE MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS OR RELATED INFORMATION PROVIDED TO YOU. THE ROCKET MARKETING GROUP’s LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED YOUR CURRENT MEMBERSHIP FEE AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THE ROCKET MARKETING GROUP BE LIABLE FOR YOUR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. These terms do not affect those of your statutory rights. We reserve the right to eliminate, add, change and substitute Benefits and participating providers without notice to you. We assume no responsibility for the payment of or contribution to any use of sales tax, which taxing authorities may impose and such taxes, to the intent, imposed, shall remain your sole responsibility or that of the provider of the Benefits, as the case may be.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement contains all of the Terms of Membership, and representations, promises or agreements concerning the Membership card not included in this Agreement shall not be effective or enforceable. If any of the terms of this Agreement shall become invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms shall not be affected.

Governing Law

This Agreement and the Terms of Membership shall be governed by and construed in accordance with UK law.

Data Protection

In the interest of keeping you informed and up to date about our products and services, we may occasionally forward information to you regarding specific Rocket Marketing Group products and promotions. From time to tie we may also pass your details on to carefully selected companies whose offers, we think, will be of interest to You as Members. If you would prefer not to receive information of this kind, please write to us or call your Membership Services Team. We will respond to your request within 21 days and confirm that your details have been updated.

Cancellation of Membership

To cancel your Preview Membership, please call the Membership Services Team on 08448 808 900 within 21 days from the your Membership start date. You will be given a Cancellation Reference which You should keep safely. You must return your complete and unused Ideal Extras Club Welcome Pack by day 31 (including all Annual Member Reward vouchers for Free 241 Hotel Club Membership, Free European Trip, Free Magazine Subscription, £400 off a Florida Holiday, Free Fashion Experience, £5 Ideal World & Money Can’t Buy Reward) to Membership Services in the condition in which it was supplied to You, by registered or recorded delivery (please ask at the post office counter for the most appropriate to use). Upon receipt of this We will either cancel your Preview Membership or refund against your Annual Membership fee (if applicable). You will therefore be eligible for a full refund of £49.99. No refund will be given if your Membership has reached 31 days or if any of the 7 Extra Member Rewards as listed above have been used. These rights are in addition to the standard policy as outlined in the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations of 2000.
